Unplug the machine and allow to cool if hot.
- If the leak occurs from the steam tip hole(s) when extracting or idle, then you need to rebuild the valve with the following:
- 36-301-102 – 1 of these,
- 36-402-001 – minimum of 4 or even more as these break – 2 are needed for the steam pipe and 2 are needed for the internal stem in the valve,
- 39-900-001 – the clip on the end of the steam knob may need to be replaced.
- If the leak occurs from the steam wand where it meets the steam valve inside, then you need to the following:
- (for swivel wands)
- 36-402-001 – minimum of 2 or even more as these break.
- (for multi-directional wands)
- 36-220-009 – 1 of these
- 36-930-016 – 1 of these
- (for swivel wands)
- If the leak occurs from the steam valve stem/knob, then you need to rebuild the valve with the following:
- 36-301-102 – 1 of these,
- 36-402-001 – minimum of 4 or even more as these break – 2 are needed for the steam pipe and 2 are needed for the internal stem in the valve,
- 39-900-001– the clip on the end of the steam knob may need to be replaced.
