Isomac Alba Commercial Espresso Machine
Overview:
Move over Quickmill, the Isomac Alba is a classic Isomac machine with great durability and high
performance. The double gauge, placed on the top position
easily shows both boiler and pump pressure.
The new sensors in the reservoir reads
the level of water in the tank and alerts you via LED when the water starts to get low so you do not run out of water in the middle of the espresso extraction. This is better than a magnetic float technology because a magnetic float in the reservoir can stick in the up position - making the machine think it has water and can lead to potential damage of the pump running without water or the heating element melting inside the boiler due to not having adequate water pumped in.
The no-burn steam wand and hot water wand allow you to hold either wand for a few seconds without burning. Please understand, to our best knowledge, that you can not continuously hold 'any' no burn steam wand for more than 10 seconds while steaming.
Features:
- All stainless steel body, polished front, side and rear
- Passive cup warmer tray on top
- Heavy-duty, nickel-plated copper boiler is palced on a horizontal position for very easy access to heating element for self-repair
- Large, removable drip tray
- Commercial quality handles are used on the thermically-balanced
E61 grouphead for temperature stability
- Double gauge on top front panel indicates both boiler and pump
pressure
- High wattage heating element gives continuous steaming power and auto-fill circuitry refills internal boiler when water has been heated into steam. This keeps the heating element submerged in water
- Easy-to-use lever on grouphead allows control over pre-infusion
- Heat exchanger design allows continuous espresso extractions and ability to steam milk while extracting
- Three way solenoid valve allows the quick removal of the portafilter
handle
- Water level indicator on front panel with sensor for auto shutdown
- Insulated steam wand (no-burn steam wand) with 360 degree rotation has
a 2 hole steam tip for frothing milk
- Powerful 41 watt Ulka vibration pump
- One year parts and labor warranty limited to manufacturer's defect handled by 1st-line Equipment, LLC

Important Information to Note:
Pump Pressure Gauge should only be looked at when extracting espresso.
At no other time should this gauge be viewed as it is meaningless
at all other times. Second, If the gauge shows different results
while extracting, this indicates that your coffee grind tamping,
or amount of ground coffee int he basket is not proper
Green Light - While warming up, this green light remains off untilt
he machine reaches proper steam pressure (not pump pressure). If
will go and off alternately with the red light while it intermittently
re-heats to maintain steam pressure. In other words, it will turn
on and off throughout the day and it will definitely go off while
while extracting as cold water enters the heat exchanger to extract
espresso
In addition, Boiler Pressure Gauge - Once the machines heats up,
this gauge will vary from 0.8 to 1.3 depending upon setting, and
it will change throughtout the day in this range. As long as the
machine is fully heated, the machine extract espresso or steam milk
whil in this range.

Service Notes:
Backflushing: This machine should be backflushed minimum once every 50 espresso extractions using Cafiza (our instructions included with purchase). This is only for cleaning the oils fromt he grouphead.
Descaling: This really is for internally cleaning of the machine. Recommended once every 3 months using Dezcal. However, it can be more or less time depending upon the amount of magnesium and calcium is in your water, how often you use the machine, and how much time you leave the machine powered on each day.
