Compak Coffee Grinders

The Birth of a Great Name. In 1952, Jesus Ascaso, founding partner of the company, first came into contact with the world of espresso coffee which was then in its infancy. The extraction of its intense and unique flavor, achieved through new, finer grinding techniques, spread across all of Europe. It was a period of expansion in which Jesus would make a great contribution by providing fundamental innovations in collaboration with some of the most important companies in the sector. Over the span of four decades, experience was gained and new processes were perfected, eventually leading to the birth of a great name in Barcelona, the international captial of design. It was then, 1995, the year in which Compak came into being.

Technology Applied to the Senses. The intersection of advanced technology and superior design meet only through years of experience, and the continual pursuit of excellence. Compak strives to achieve this balance in every product they offer. Their team of industrial designers and engineers incorporates the philosophy of continuous improvement in every iteration of the Compak product line, resulting in one of the most balanced and advanced professional coffee grinders ranges on the market. Cool grind design and technology not only lend to a quiet grind, but also ensure the lowest heat transfer possible with the assurance of perfection in every cup. We invite coffee lovers around the world to lend their senses and sensibility in appreciating the professional's coffee grinder of choice: Compak Coffee Grinders.

Espresso Culture. Compak supports the expansion of quality coffee around the world through the sponsorship of international events such as the World Barista Championship (WBC) and the United States Barista Championship (USBC). The K-10 Conic grinder has been chosen as the official grinder for these competitions, which places Compak among those preferred by the best baristas in the world. Compak also works closely with one of the world's leading authorities on espresso coffee, the Istituto Nazionale Espresso Italiano (INEI) in meeting the strict certification requirements of true "Espresso Italiano."
