Automatic Espresso Machines
Overview:
Everyone knows that the La Valentina is one fine machine. Some
customers ask, "Why should I choose an automatic version?"
Our answer is simple... First and foremost, it offers you consistency
from shot to shot while you can still use the machine as a semi-automatic.
Second, and less realized, the Faema E61 grouphead can run a little
hot when the machine is sitting idle for more than 20 minutes.
This is inherent in all E61 or similar style group heads. Therefore,
one of the program buttons can be programmed the run enough water
through the grouphead to cool it down. This makes it the number
one semi-commercial machine for the office environment.
Another advantage point for the Valentina line is easy access
to the innards of the machine. All three models of the La Valentina
have only 6 screws to remove the wrap-around body panel. look
at the bottom, and you have an access panel to the bottom of the
boiler and heating element. Even thought went into the small bend
on the lower front wall so that any splashing on the front wall
would lead into the drip tray - not behind it. Read more about
the machine here.
With the La Valentina being sold for over 3 years, you can be
rest assured top-notch reliability of the machine and the best
end user support by the staff at 1st-line Equipment.
Features:
- Built-in pre infusion chamber allows ground
coffee or espresso pod to be saturated with water prior to full
pump pressure for extraction.
- All stainless steel body throughout makes this a showcase winner
for many homes and low volume commercial establishments! Polished
front and brushed in the rear!
- The heat exchanger inside the boiler allows you to steam/froth
milk immediately after espresso extraction or vice versa. Please
note that we do not recommend steaming during espresso extraction
on any semi-commercial machine as this can lower the temp of the
boiler, and ultimately affect the espresso.
- Full sized commercial handles are used on the thermically-balanced
(a.k.a. Faema E61) grouphead for maximized temperature stability
- 3-way solenoid valve for successive extractions and for short
back flushing capability
- Large pull out drip tray with attractive handle for easy disposal
and cleaning
- Large feet with rubber bottoms maintain stability throughout
- Large gauge on front panel indicates
boiler pressure
- GICAR (top brand in our industry) auto water refill circuit
maintains proper water level in boiler
- Easy-to-use push button touch pad on
full automatic electronic models have been extremely reliable
- we have only had to replace one of these Gicar touch pads in
the last 8 years
- Passive, stainless steel cup warmer tray on top
- Sealed water reservoir (3 liter)
prevents dust from settling in your water tank
- Water reservoir is easily removable for cleaning (recommended
every 2 weeks)
- Spring-activated low water shut-off protects the machine when
the water reservoir is near empty - as opposed to liquid level
sensors which are more sensitive to reverse osmosis/purified water
which conflicts with the proper operation of the machine
- Included, rechargeable water softener
minimizes limescale build up inside machine
- Ergonomically designed steam knob sits on perfect angle for
easy use
- Multi-directional steam wand with rubber safety grip has two
hole steam tip that makes frothed milk in a snap!
- Rubber grips on steam wand and hot water wand prevent burning
- yes, you can keep your hand on them for a while. On other machines
with no-burn steam wands, you can still burn your hands or fingers
if you keep your hand/finger on the wand for more than 10 seconds
while the steam is exiting.
- Three way solenoid valve allows the quick removal of the portafilter
handle once the espresso extraction is terminated.
- Heavy-weighted vacuum breaker valve allows you to place the
machine on a timer - please make sure to plug in your timer first,
then your surge suppressor, then the machine.
- Grouphead is designed for both
ground coffee and pod use.
- Inline safety valve for water line pressure placed after pump
- preset at 12 bar.
- Full-sized Sirai pressure regulator
not seen in any other machines in this price range!
- Heavy duty wiring throughout.
- Green light indicator for heat cycle of heating element.
- 41 watt, brass output Ulka vibration pump (quieter than 52
ULKA watt pumps according to ULKA).
- Accessories: One cup filter basket,
two cup filter basket, one portafilter handle with single spout,
one portafilter handle with double spout, one blind filter insert
for back flushing, one grouphead cleaning brush, one measuring
scoop, and one plastic tamper.
- Accessories Bonus: Pod Adapter and respective tool to
install remove pod adapter, Pully Caffe back flush detergent 20g,
and straight drop single spout.

volume office use - This is important for commercial establishments

use a non-NSF machine and fire inspectors do look for ETL ratings
on equipment
- High-wattage 1,300 watt heating element for continuous steaming
power.
- Power: 110 volts only, 60 Hz, 15 Amp
- Warranty: One year parts and labor limited to manufacturer's

Notes:
- On the La Valentina full automatic, the programmable touch pad
allows the operator to control the 'volume' of water that flows
through the coffee grind. It does not work on timing. Therefore,
if you change the grind setting, the measured amount of water
can change due to the overpressure valve opening."
- In tank water softener must be inspected
for damage and recharged prior to use.
