This grouphead design is so flexible - it can be used for pods or ground coffee - we took the best of both worlds! Picture shown with pod adapter whereby both ground coffee or an espresso pod can be used. As of March 14, 2005, the machine is designed with the ground coffee only screen and the pod adapter is included in the box of accessories. The grouphead also has a preinfusion chamber.
